Just what IS MiddleFingerRings doing with his time?

I figured I should probably give people who are interested some kind of update on what I've been doing. I know there's a good chunk of people who are waiting patiently for Prosnorkulus 3, and I hate to disappoint them - but it's nowhere near finished yet. Sorry guys!

OK, now that 90% of people have left or placed a hit on me, I'll tell you what I have been doing. I've been working harder than ever to get some kind of valuable skillset and create a portfolio that will get me a job in the film industry as a digital artist. (Focusing largely on 3D modelling and animation.) You can see some of my work in the art portal now, actually. Here's one of 'em. Unfortunately I just haven't found the time to do much Prosnorkulus, as every second of time I can work is time I can use to improve my chances of getting a job.

As of now, I've finished university. I've finished the 3D project I was working on. I've just got to get through the exhibition/cinema screening, and then my university career will be over. (At least for now.) After that I will be searching for a job, while improving my portfolio and showreel. (In fact I've started that already.)

I have written Prosnorkulus 3, and done around 30% of the animatics. But I'm afraid I won't be able to really knuckle down and work on it until I have a job and some sort of stability in my career and personal life.

Thanks for reading! I still visit Newgrounds for a little while most days, to check up on things.

Good luck dude hope you get the job, I'm in a good paying job myself as a welder at john deere.

You have a date when you will finish and post the next epic snorkulus?

I graduated from 3d animation and looking for a job as well, it's a tough industry to get into. However you seem to have good work habits, and those who really want it have a much higher chance than lazier people like myself. Good luck mate!

1/5/14 MiddleFingerRings responds:

Yep, I've been doing a 2 month internship at a 3D production company for a month so far. At the end of it I have a chance for a proper contract!

Good luck with your job hunt.

Thought about a Prosnorkulus kickstarter? I've seen plenty of small projects succeed, no reason for yours not to. Could be good exposure too!

11/28/13 MiddleFingerRings responds:

Even doing that requires me to focus a lot of my time on it. I really want a career in 3D, so I've gotta focus on that. Nice idea though!

Hey, You better start making prosnorkulus or the whole internet will be thrown down to a meaningless level of something which has nothing to do with anything at all.

just kidding.. i think you're going to be giving people jobs before you get one and the prosnorkulus will become a super series every kid in the universe will watch.

Your head looks like a finger by the way.

:D I feel much better now that i said it.

11/24/13 MiddleFingerRings responds:

lul it does, doesn't it?

I heard in the new persnorkaDorkulussses movie you are making there will be no violence, instead everyone works out there differences over a cup of tea and civil discussions.

11/23/13 MiddleFingerRings responds:

First off: You spelt PickleDickus wrong, and secondly yes you are 100% right.

I knew it, these have that feeling that Master Beksisnki's paintings emit when you look at them, really what a good job you are making, keep it up good sir!

11/23/13 MiddleFingerRings responds:

Were those inspired by Master Beksinski or by Barlowe's inferno? because i can't help but see the similarities, which translates to fucking awesome!!!

You know if you are going to keep doing these badass drawings i don't really care if Prosnorkulus is delayed, i mean look at this so goddamn cool!

11/23/13 MiddleFingerRings responds:

Definitely hugely inspired by Beksinski, he's been my favourite artist for a long time. I haven't looked at Barlowe's inferno since I was a kid, thanks for reminding me! Awesome stuff.
