Halfway to forty I guess.
According to vsauce, it is. At the age of twenty, you will have experienced about half of the novel experiences you'll ever come across in your life. The next sixty years will be duller and feel like only twenty years.
THAT is a depressing notion.
I think that this qualify as the real start to your life.
Depends on how you choose to perceive it, but when you are 20 you get to decide (in some way) what your life will be like. You are not yet an adult, but no longer a teenager either. You start to requestion your morals, values, ethics or whatever you learned in society as you grew up.
This may or may not be a turning point in your existence.
